Do you own or have access to a four door car year 2006 or newer?

Then you’re at right place!

Continue reading and I’ll tell how you can start making money driving your car when you want to and where you want to.

How can you make money with your car

It’s pretty simple, you don’t need any special licence. If you wanted to drive taxi you would be required to have some sort of licence besides your regular driver’s licence.

With Uber or Lyft there’s no need for any additional licenses.

  • Have the required vehicle (4 door, 2006 or newer).
  • Have insurance on your vehicle (Your name must be on the card).
  • Have a clean driving record for the last 7 years ( A small accident, no big deal).
  • Being able to pass a background check.
  • Have a smartphone.

How to use the Uber app?

First thing is for you to sign up. One of the best thing about Uber is that they give you up to $750 depending on your city as a bonus.

However you will need a promo code in order to make this bonus money. But don’t worry I’ve already have a promo code right here for you.

If you sign up directly through uber.com with no promo code they will not give you any bonus. But if you sign up through my promo code below they will give you up to $750 and they will give me $100 as a way to thank me.

Doesn’t that sound good to you? the application does not take long, it’s pretty straight forward and short.

Do you want to sign up with Uber? Here is the promo code link, sign up right now.

You will only need to complete 20 trips before you can receive your bonus. Are you thinking 20 trips is too many?

I understand you if you think so, I thought the same thing when I signed up. Fortunately, you can complete 20 trips very quick. If you work part time you can make at least 10 trips in one night or day.

I usually make 10 trips per night. I do work part-time, so I’m just telling you that from my experience.

Once these 20 trips are completed you should receive your bonus plus the money you’ve earned for the trips in the following Wednesday via direct deposit.

To use the app you’ll need to have either an android phone or an iPhone. Smartphones are the compatible devices for ridesharing companies.

If you don’t have a smart phone, you’ll need one or you won’t be able to drive for Uber or any of its competitors.

Now that we got this out of the way, let’s proceed to how you can use the Uber app.drive for uber

Accepting a rider’s request

There’s an allotted time frame of 10 seconds to accept a ping from a rider. If you don’t accept the ping then your acceptance rate would be affected.

If you can’t accept all pings make sure that you’re accepting at least 90% of them. A low acceptance rate could dramatically affect your account as a Uber driver.

You might even get deactivated if you’re not accepting enough riders request. So just to be safe, accept your requests and you’ll be fine with no headaches.

Navigating to pick up your passenger

Like I said before, there’s a 10 second frame to accept the request. How do you accept it?

The ping will comes with a beeping tone, make sure your phone’s volume is loud enough for you to hear the beeps. I usually set my phone at the highest volume.

You just have to tap on your phone’s screen to accept it, that’s all it takes.

Once you’ve accepted it you’ll be able to see the address to navigate toward your rider at the top of your screen.

You then hit navigate to connect with your GPS. From there you should be on your way to pick up your first rider.

Navigating to your passenger’s final destination

How do you use the Uber app to do that? Once you get there and pick up your passenger, you have to hit “START TRIP” from the bottom of your phone, and then “NAVIGATE” at the top of your phone’s screen.

If the final destination address was added by the rider you should see it and the app should connect you with your GPS on you hit navigate.

But if the destination’s address was not added you can either politely ask the rider to tap it in or the rider can give it to you to tap it in right into the Uber app.

If the rider is not going far he/she may tell you that he/she can guide you to the destination. It won’t be a problem for you as long as you’ve started the trip from the app.

You have to make sure that the trip was started if you’re going to be guided by your passenger. I’m not sure if you will lose your money if you did not start it because I’ve never experienced that before.

But always remember to start the trip from the app by sliding your finger on “START TRIP”.

Completing the trip

When you get to your passenger’s destination you have to complete the trip from the app. If you fail to do so your passenger will be charged additionally for no reason.

Now that you’ve completed your first trip, it will ask you to rate your passenger. Uber uses a five star rating system as of now, they may change it in the future, but as of now it’s still the five star rating system.

You’ll have to give a honest rating according to your experience with your passenger. From 1 star to 5 stars, you choose what you think your passenger deserves.

Did you register to drive with Uber?

If you did not register earlier from the link provided, do you think it’s something you would be interested to try? It’s pretty cool to drive for Uber because you’re on your own.

You don’t have to report anything to anyone. You’re your own boss, you create your own schedule, and you even take your vacation any time you want to.

Who wouldn’t like to have such freedom?

It’s for this very reason I chose to drive for Uber, I get to work whenever I get the chance because I’m a very busy person. If you’re as busy as I’m and you’re looking to make some extra cash, then Uber is the right way to do so.

Again, here is the link which will allow you to receive up to $750 as a “Thank you” bonus. You will only have to complete 20 trips as soon as you can and then you will receive your bonus.
